Uses | 1. It is utilized to make ω-bromo-2,4-dichloroacetophenone which is the intermediate for enilconazole, propiconazole and other triazole fungicides. 2. Bromoacetic acid can be used to fabricate its esters, and these esters are useful in manufacturing β-hydroxy carboxylic acid as well as α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acid in pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. |
