Annular Cooler
The annular cooler is an important piece of equipment in the pellet production process, known for its extensive use in pellet cooling. It serves two primary functions. It rapidly cools high-temperature oxidized pellets after they exit the rotary kiln, lowering their temperature for easier handling and further processing. Additionally, it plays a vital role in the overall process system's heat balance by recovering heat from the hot pellets for pre-heating, reducing the entire system's fuel consumption.
Constructed with precision, the annular cooler comprises several key components: a driving mechanism, rotating parts, support rollers, side retaining rollers, pressure rails, a frame, bellows, and a cover. Its design features a dual-drive system to ensure synchronized operation across the equipment. Additionally, an auxiliary drive mechanism is incorporated to maintain low-speed operation, safeguarding the equipment in the event of a malfunction. The rotating section is the cooler's core, enabling efficient material transfer from the inlet to the outlet, including the discharge of materials. This design ensures a seamless and efficient cooling process, essential for the high-quality production of pellets while maintaining energy efficiency and operational reliability.
