ZLJ-2900 underground drilling rig is suitable for core drilling mainly using diamond bit and carbide bit. It has the features of small size, light weight, large installed power, wide performances and strong generality. It can be used for coal mine exploration and underground drilling and drilling depths are 320m and 530m.

- ZLJ-2900 drilling rig has many (8) rotation speed gears and reasonable rotation speed range (the highest is 1148r/min and the lowest is 63r/min) and torque is larger at low speed. This drilling rig has wide applications.
- It has two gear reverse speeds (51r/min, 242r/min), which is convenient for accident treatment.
- ZLJ-2900 drilling rig has small size, light weight and good disassembly performance. It only weighs 950kg excluding power engine weight. It can be disassembled into 8 parts of which the heaviest is 140kg so it's convenient for carrying
- It has long vertical feed stroke of 600mm, which is helpful to increase drilling efficiency and reduce drill plugging and drill burning accidents.
- Drilling is smooth and stable and fixing is simple. High-speed drilling has good stability.
- It adopts dual oil pump to supply oil with less power consumption and the oil temperature of hydraulic system is lower.
- Drilling pressure gauge and hydraulic pressure gauge are combined together and oil shockproof structure is adopted. This gauge has simple drilling pressure graduation, accurate indication and long service life.
- It has less control handles and rational layout so the operation is flexible and reliable.
- In addition to high-speed drilling, ZLJ-2900 drilling rig can also be used for low-speed large borehole drilling.
- In addition to normally-closed hydraulic upper chuck, ZLJ-2900 drilling rig is also equipped with mechanical manual lower chuck.
