Melting and holding furnace for processing aluminum and aluminum alloy
The aluminum and aluminum alloy melting furnace utilizes aluminum ingots, recovery materials, recycled materials, and other raw inputs to produce a variety of aluminum products, including aluminum rods (1 series, 6 series, 8 series), aluminum ingots, and aluminum bars. This furnace ensures high efficiency and quality in aluminum production.
Features
- Customizable options based on client needs: vertical furnace with round holding furnace (for melting), dual-chamber melting furnace, rectangular tilting melting furnace, and ingot or bar rectangular melting furnace.
- The melting furnace can use various fuels: heavy oil, diesel, natural gas, and liquefied gas.
- The furnace body has a strong steel shell with a heavy-duty design. The inner layer uses high-quality refractory insulation materials for long-lasting use.
- The combustion system features a regenerative burner with PID automatic temperature control, improving energy efficiency by 20-40% compared to traditional systems.
- The furnace is controlled with a PLC and touch screen, allowing easy reading, modifying, and storing of process parameters.
- The flow of molten aluminum in the holding furnace is controlled with laser measurement feedback, ensuring stable flow by adjusting the furnace tilt speed.
- The production line can have a single rectangular melting and holding furnace, where melting, refining, and slag removal are done in one furnace, ideal for small-scale production.
- Alternatively, the production line can have one melting furnace and two holding furnaces, allowing refining and slag removal to be done alternately, ensuring continuous casting of aluminum.
- The furnace bottom can be equipped with an electromagnetic stirring system for mixing molten aluminum and additives. Additional external systems include online degassing and filtration devices to remove harmful gases and refine aluminum alloy composition, ensuring the removal of unwanted particles.
- The equipment can be integrated with continuous casting and rolling lines to produce 9.5mm, 12mm, and 15mm aluminum rods and granules. It can also be paired with continuous ingot casting machines to produce standard aluminum ingots and blocks (7kg-25kg), continuous casting machines for 40mm-300mm aluminum bars, and rolling mills for producing 7mm-100mm thick aluminum plates and strips.
