Application
Metallized polyester film is primarily used in packaging of tobacco products, wine, cosmetics, computers, food, medicine and more.
Features
1. Metallized polyester film is available with clear and colorful hot stamping patterns that feature an outstanding wear resistance.
2. The thickness of the aluminum coating is about 0.02~0.06μm, and has been tested using a densitometer.
3. The aluminum coating is rather uniform. In the longitudinal direction, there are 10 testing points at 120m and the thickness error is less than 10%. In the transverse direction, there are 18 testing points with a thickness error of less than 5%.
4. The aluminum coating has a large adhesive force. When testing via tape, the aluminum coating will not drop after being torn from the tape.
5. UV transmission is less than 5%.
Principle
Metallized polyester film uses a vacuum aluminum plating process and a thin layer of aluminum atoms stacked on PET to form a barrier film.
