Asphalt blending tanks are typically used on-site for producing modified asphalt. Unlike earlier generations requiring special handling equipment in factory, they are directly connected to asphalt batching and mixing units on blending site. Besides, we offer GRL series blending equipment for continuous production of modified asphalt emulsions.
Applicable substance: SBS polymer modified asphalt, rubber modified asphalt, SBR modified asphalt, PE modified asphalt, SMA modified asphalt, EVA modified asphalt, etc.
Modification process: by using modified asphalt mixing equipment, modifier is added to the base bitumen and mixed together, and then finely dispersed through high shear mill to obtain final modified asphalt.
- Fitted into containerized body for robust structure and easy transportation;
- Heating and mixing units are improved by our technical personnel, achieving simultaneous heating and mixing of asphalt and modifier;
- High shear mill disperses and grinds asphalt into small droplets with size ranges from 2μm to 5μm in a single pass. And the core components of high shear mill, like stator and rotor, are all made of high strength materials to ensure excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance, combined with reliability and durability in use;
- Automatic control system has a color screen displays liquid level and temperature variation in real-time during production process;
