MDF Door
MDF, short for medium density fiberboard, is made by combining wood fibers with resin binders or other glue types to form panels under high temperatures and pressure. This kind of fiberboard can be made from wood shavings, scraps, and recycled wood, thus helping us minimize our use on the use of forest resources.
Advantages of using medium density fiberboards in door construction include an enhanced bending strength, impact strength, and a smooth, node-free surface that readily accepts paint and veneer. Because MDF can be machined to tight tolerances, the material is increasingly replacing solid wood doors within the interior decoration industry. Simto’s MDF doors can be used as bathroom doors, bedroom doors and office doors.
