20C2 carbon steel’s natural corrosion and oxidation resistance enhances doctor blades longevity, reducing the impact of abrasive ink particles and contaminants. This type of doctor blades is processed by a special polishing treatment which helps reduce ink contamination and prevents particle adhesion, ensuring a cleaner blade surface and minimizing streaks or fine lines in the final print. Their corrosion and oxidation resistance allows for consistent performance in high-demand printing processes, including those using black inks and specialty coatings.
