Hot Runner Controllers
For plastic injection molding
The temperature controller is an essential plastic auxiliary equipment designed to maintain the necessary temperatures consistently for hot runner systems. This device integrates temperature control cards, circuit breakers, enclosures, fans, terminal blocks, and cables, crucial for precise temperature management of hot runner products. The performance of the temperature control cards plays a vital role in ensuring accuracy, self-protection, and error tolerance within the system, making it a key component in the electrical setup for hot runner molds.
Sequential timer controllers are specialized devices used with valve-gated hot runner systems to manage the order of mold injection timings effectively. These controllers allow for precise control over the opening of each gate in the hot runner system, optimizing the injection process for better quality and efficiency in molding operations.
The end part of the hot runner system, the hot nozzle, includes heating elements and is crucial for delivering molten material accurately to the mold cavity. It's designed to handle the demands of the hot runner system while maintaining a consistent temperature and flow rate, crucial for high-quality molding outputs.
Open gate large nozzle
Open gate large nozzles feature a gate size that is unrestricted, typically between 1 and 4 mm, which is considerably larger compared to standard nozzles. These nozzles are beneficial for creating parts that require good holding pressure and reduced internal stress during the injection molding process. They leave visible gate marks on the surface of the plastic parts or within the cold runners, which is acceptable in scenarios where surface finish is not critical, such as in certain engineering components. These nozzles are frequently used for injecting into cold runners and short main runners but are not recommended for materials that are susceptible to stringing from the gate.
Open Tip Nozzle
Open tip nozzles allow for direct injection of plastic onto the product surface, resulting in minimal gate marks and a more aesthetically pleasing finish. These nozzles are designed to reduce the amount of residual waste left on the product, making them suitable for applications where a clean, smooth appearance is crucial. They are applicable to both amorphous and crystalline types of plastics, offering versatility across different molding applications.
Valve Gate Nozzle
Valve gate nozzles feature a movable valve pin that is introduced into the gate aperture, mechanically closing the gate. This design allows for larger gate diameters, simplifying the cavity filling process, which is particularly beneficial for high-viscosity or shear-sensitive plastics. The precision closure of the gate minimizes material leakage and ensures a clean injection point, making these nozzles ideal for products where a high-quality external appearance is crucial.
