Heat Exchanger (Hastelloy C276)
Request a Quote
Hastelloy C276 is a nickel–molybdenum–chromium alloy known for its ability to withstand some of the harshest corrosive environments. Its use in heat exchangers is particularly advantageous where operating conditions involve highly aggressive environments. It delivers not only exceptional resistance to chemical attack but also dependable mechanical strength, making it a trusted choice where conventional materials fall short.
This alloy is especially recommended when:
- The process medium contains high concentrations of chloride (Cl⁻), fluoride (F⁻), or strong oxidizing acids such as mixed nitric and hydrochloric acid.
- Operating temperatures above 200 °C in the presence of corrosive media.
- Alloys like 316L stainless steel or titanium repeatedly fail due to corrosion.
