It involves exposing the yarn to a low-temperature plasma, which is a highly ionized gas, leading to physical modification and chemical activation of functional groups (such as -OH, -COOH, -C=O) on the fiber. Subsequently, a low-temperature plasma-modified layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is deposited on the fiber surface, promoting a graft reaction with the fiber molecules to form a fully encapsulated nanofilm.
