Die and mold production is a sophisticated process and if you need to produce high-quality molds, you will also need high precision machining equipment.
Typically, molds are made from die steel, offering outstanding hardness. Then, machining precision and production efficiency need to be determined as even a slight deviation in mold tolerance will lead to mold scrap, which leads to wasted materials and money.
Tying CNC produces a 3-axis CNC machining center that is specially suited for die and mold production. This highly-advanced machining center features a thickened lead screw and guideway, heavier machine body, greater machining strength, and high mold roughing efficiency. It also utilizes a Mitsubishi control system to optimize its machining precision (within 0.015mm).
