The oval aluminium wire rope ferrule is extruded from a high quality aluminum alloy. It has been heat treated for excellent cold forming or swaging qualities. When using this aluminum sleeve, the return eye splice should be properly swaged to attain 95% of the improved plow wire rope catalog strength.
Caution
Before using the oval aluminium ferrule, the return eye sling must be properly swaged to attain enough strength.
