Sewing thread is an important auxiliary material in the shoe production process. It is used to sew the upper part of the shoe to the sole, shaping the shoe, embroidery, and many other operations.
For ordinary shoes, we recommend the application of polyester thread as the upper thread and cotton thread for the sole thread. These threads offer an excellent balance of quality and affordability. For superior shoes of high end brands, we recommend bonded nylon sewing threads and bonded polyester sewing threads. These threads have higher tensile strength and produce a better sewing texture. Functional sewing threads are suitable for shoes made for specialized applications. For example, we have polyester anti-wick thread, anti-wick bonded polyester thread, anti-wick cotton thread, and others for waterproof shoes.
