This 2.5-layer forming fabric is specially engineered for use in the forming section of paper and cardboard machines. The demands regarding high retention, tensile strength and life potential are fulfilled thanks to ample fiber support points formed by the increased ratio of weft density in the sheet-side (2:1 to wear-side).

This 2.5-layer weave structure also provides satisfying seam strength and dewatering capability. The 2.5-layer forming fabric is compatible in all paper machine configurations with options of 8-shed and 16-shed available. Special demands can be satisfied by individual weft selection in terms of diameter and density on both sides.
