Vitamin B6, also known as pyridoxine, in the body in the form of phosphate ester, is a water-soluble vitamin. Vitamin B6 is involved in metabolism in animals to prevent various nerve and skin diseases.
Functions
- Vitamin B6 plays a key role in energy metabolism. Pyridoxal phosphate or pyridoxine phosphate is the active form of Vitamin B6, and involved in the enzyme system in the metabolism of protein, carbohydrates and fats.
- Vitamin B6 also participates in the metabolism of pantothenic acid, vitamin C, Vitamin B₁₂.
- Good atom economy: NHU uses phosgene instead of phosphorus oxychloride, free from phosphorus. This ensures that no waste containing phosphorus will be discharged, and mainly discharge sodium chloride wastewater and carbon dioxide waste gas.
