Radar Level Measurement

Guided wave radar electronic module for liquid and solid radar level transmitter

Guided wave radar measurement modules are used in level transmitters for liquids and solids. They work based on TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) technology and can be combined with cable, rod, or coaxial probes to provide continuous and low-maintenance measurement. They perform reliably even in environments with condensation, foam, buildup, crystallization, or steam. Each guided wave radar electronic module is built to deliver stable and accurate readings in different industrial environments and to keep reliable performance even after long periods of use. They are also suitable for measuring the interface between two liquid layers or for applications with heavy vapor. With advanced signal processing, they stay stable even when the signal is weak or affected by interference. The nonlinear output function can convert measurement signals into practical data such as volume, weight, or flow, offering flexible use across various process applications.

Applications

Steel Industry
Suitable for extreme operating conditions involving heat and pressure, these modules can measure the level of molten metals and other high-temperature materials with reliable precision.

Chemical Industry
Used for both liquid and solid applications under normal process conditions. They provide consistent level readings in tanks, reactors, and silos containing a wide range of chemical materials.

Energy Industry
Ideal for processes with high heat or pressure, where they help monitor the level of combustion materials and ensure stable operation in demanding energy systems.

Petroleum Industry
Designed to measure stirred or corrosive liquids, as well as tanks that contain vapor or foam. The signal can pass through steam and floating roofs to detect the real level of crude oil and other petroleum products.

Food Industry
Performs well with liquids and solids at standard temperature and pressure. Handles slightly corrosive or vapor-prone materials, providing steady readings even in small tanks.

Feed Industry
Used to measure the level of granular materials and powders, and to control the dosage of liquid additives during feed production.

Cement Industry (slurry and liquid processes)
Suitable for stirred or corrosive liquids at medium temperature and pressure. Commonly used to measure cement slurry and other high-temperature materials in process tanks.

Pharmaceutical Industry
Suitable for stirred, corrosive, or vapor-rich processes at medium temperature and pressure. Measures the level of liquid ingredients and powdered raw materials with high precision and stability.
