Compound Needle on Tricot Machines
Compound needles are normally used on tricot warp knitting machines, with assistance by compound needle closers to finish loop formation with a fast, smooth performance.
Compound needles must maintain a uniform distance with the compound needle closer bars in order to to prevent damages causing by friction. The knitting operation requires a superior accuracy on both needle closers and compound needles, and to do so, we straighten all needle stems using a high pressure clamp while tempering after a heat treatment. The compound needle front is chrome plated for a higher hardness and wear resistance, particularly where the hook takes and folds newly fed yarn with a larger pressure.
