MIL-DTL-38999 Connectors

True to its name, our MIL-DTL-38999 connector is built to meet MIL-DTL-D38999 series III specifications. Housed inside the miniature cylindrical shell of this electrical connector are densely arranged contacts. Three-start thread makes for fast mating and unmating. Unique coupling ring prevents accidental decoupling of the male connector and female connector. Though physically small and lightweight, this circular connector includes many connector pins for effective electrical and mechanical connection. Excellent shielding prevents electromagnetic interference. Convenient crimp contact is easily removed. Scoop proof feature prevents the connector pins from being bent.

The fireproof shell is available in one of three materials: aluminum alloy, admiralty brass, or stainless steel. Various platings offer greater protection against high temperature and excessive vibration. The MIL-DTl-38999 connector works best under harsh conditions involving heavy sandstorms and high humidity. Though initially designed for use in military and commercial aircraft applications, the circular connector is now widely employed in high-reliability connection environments.
