Contact us to discuss your specific requirements and explore our range of military webbing options.

Material Options

Our military webbing is mainly made from nylon, polyester, or aramid (Kevlar), each selected for its durability, strength, and lightweight properties. These materials are commonly used in military applications due to their resistance to wear, flexibility, and ability to perform under demanding conditions. For environments where reducing visibility is necessary, we offer matte nylon and matte polyester options.

Choosing the right material depends on the specific operational needs, including strength, abrasion resistance, and environmental factors.

Nylon Webbing (PA6 & PA6.6)

Nylon is a widely used material in military webbing due to its strength, flexibility, and abrasion resistance. We offer different types, including Nylon 6, high-tenacity nylon, and Nylon 6.6, each with specific performance characteristics. One key factor to consider is that nylon is moisture-absorbent, which can lead to minor strength loss and increased elongation when exposed to humidity. Despite this, its durability and versatility make it a common choice for tactical gear, harnesses, and military equipment.

Polyester Webbing (PES)

Polyester webbing provides a strong and stable structure with lower moisture absorption compared to nylon. It has an elongation range of 6% to 18%, ensuring controlled flexibility while maintaining strength. Polyester performs well in wet or humid environments, as it retains its tensile properties better than nylon. This makes it a suitable choice for applications requiring consistent performance over time, such as load-bearing straps, safety harnesses, and outdoor gear.

Aramid Webbing (Kevlar)

Aramid webbing, such as Kevlar, is known for its heat resistance, flame retardancy, and resistance to chemicals. Unlike nylon and polyester, aramid fibers do not melt when exposed to high temperatures, making them essential for protective gear, aerospace applications, and environments with extreme conditions. Its combination of strength and thermal stability makes it a preferred option for fire-resistant harnesses, tactical belts, and military-grade safety equipment.
