Hammerhead Tower Crane, QTZ50 TC4810-4
QTZ50 TC4810-4 hammerhead tower crane consists of a horizontal arm, a jib, a hoisting mechanism, a trolleying mechanism, a slewing mechanism, a hydraulic jacking system and a cabin. As a high-level slewing tower crane, our tower crane now is widely used for constructions of high-rise restaurants, civilian buildings and industrial buildings. It is an ideal choice for small and middle-size construction enterprises.
The fast-erecting crane has a lot of merits. Firstly, the jib, held by rigid duplex pull rods, features good rigidity, light weight, small cross section, small wind resistance, uniform force distribution and good-looking appearance. Secondly, in the hoisting mechanism, a three-speed motor and a single-stage gear reducer used can ensure low-speed heavy loading and high-speed light loading. The maximum hoisting speed reaches 62.5 m/min. Furthermore, the operators cabin runs along the horizontal arm with traction by the trolleying mechanism, which leads to perfect positioning. Equipped with a planetary reducer and a hydraulic coupler, the slewing mechanism achieves great bearing capacity, smooth startup, reliable performance, wind resistance and accurate positioning.
Besides all the characteristics above, the hammerhead tower crane is designed with some new features. It comes with a newly-developed chassis, which ensures uniform force exposed to the joint part between the slab and mask sections, thereby improving the tower cranes lifetime and safety factor. Instead of a one-piece jib, the self-erecting crane utilizes a jib made up with multiple sections. In addition, a dismounting tool is installed on the middle section to facilitate disassembly. Moreover, twist control devices are added to prevent the steel wire rope from twisting together and release the ropes twist force to further avoid fracture.
The hammerhead tower crane can automatically lift itself by adding mask sections with the help of a hydraulic cylinder. Hence, the crane can rise with a building's ascending. Furthermore, it can be fixed on a base or attached to an external wall. Its freestanding height is 30 meters, while its attached height can be 140 meters and 70 meters respectively for situations with multiplier as 2 and 4. Therefore, it is suitable for different construction projects.
