Combining the membrane separation technology and activated sludge method, the MBR wastewater treatment plant is a new sewage treatment device. MBR wastewater treatment plants can be used to treat the domestic/municipal sewage or industrial wastewater with high percentages of organics. The MBR wastewater treatment plant can also replace the secondary settling tank in traditional activated sludge processes to remove suspended solids in sewage, and improve the removal rate of nitrogen and degradation of organics.

Details

The MBR wastewater treatment plant uses the PVDF composite membrane, which improves the antioxidant capacity and anti-pollution ability of the membrane separation unit and the tensile strength and compressive strength as well. Besides, the PVDF membrane is hydrophilic for higher membrane flux.

To improve the corrosion resistance of packing and to make it easier for culturing biofilms using microorganisms, BETTER EPT uses elastic packings which is made of polymer materials as our biological packings, and adds antioxidants, hydrophilic agents, stabilizers, adsorbents and other additives.

  • The Grille well before the regulating tank is used to intercept the large particular and hair in the sewage.
  • After regulating tank, the activated sludge in the anoxic tank can not only reduce the amount of COD and BOD5, but can also make nitrate nitrogen become N2 under the action of nitrite bacteria and nitrate bacteria. In addition, the DO value of anoxic tank is below 0.2 mg/L.
  • After the sewage in the anoxic tank flows into the MBR, and carries on the oxidation reaction. By the aeration, the sewage can obtain enough oxygen to degrade and remove the organic pollutants. Under the action of aeration, the sewage circulates in the reactor, makes the membrane jitter and reduces membrane fouling. With a hollow fiber membrane, the suspended matters, particulars and Escherichia coli in the sewage can be effectively removed, thus making the effluent high qualitied.
  • Sewage treated by MBR is disinfected and then stored in the clean water tank.
