PP strap, or polypropylene strap, is a common type of plastic packing bands and it is made of polypropylene and other additives for some special purposes of usage and cost consideration. PP strap is usually used to bundle cartons, pallets or goods that are stacked together. It is particularly designed for light and medium-duty products for easy handling, storage and transportation. The most common field that apply PP strap is the home appliance industry. Apart from it, PP strap is also widely used in fields of furniture, ceramic tiles, agriculture, construction materials, paper, cans and jars and so on.
Compared to PET strap and steel strap, PP strap is the lightest type of strapping bands while with strong elongation capacity. It is light, economic and easy for handling.
Changcheng produces PP strap in various colors and sizes to meet the huge market demand. Since 1993, Changcheng has continuously improved manufacturing of quality PP straps. Now, we have 40 production lines with each producing 4 to 8 PP strapping rolls at the same time.
We are expert in producing PP strap with lower density which means that we can produce PP strap with same strength, same length and same effect while using less materials. Changcheng’s PP strap production is thus environment-friendly and economic.
We provide several widths of PP strap, including 5mm, 8mm, 11mm, 12mm, 15mm and 16mm. Hand grade and machine grade PP straps are both available. We calculate PP strap both by length and by weight.
