PVA Moderate Temperature Cement Fluid Loss Additive
PVAModerate Temperature Cement Fluid Loss Additive
The PVAmoderate temperature cement fluid loss additive is a kind of non-ionic polymerfluid loss additive with unique advantages. It is a type of gray-yellow powder, with the bulk density reaching 0.75±0.10g/cm3. It is partly soluble in waterand smells slightly pungent. The amount of residues on a 0.315mm sieve is lowerthan 15%. In addition, this PVA moderate temperature cement fluid loss additiveconsists of 50% PVA (CAS number: 9002-89-5, 25% dispersant, 22%Slag, and 3%Sodium borate (CAS number: 1303-96-4). The CG210S PVA moderate temperaturecement fluid loss additive can effectively control the fluid loss content incement slurry, with the bottom hole circulating temperature (BHCT) lower than203℉
Our PVA moderatetemperature cement fluid loss additive is not retarded and has no effect on thestrength development of set cement. It is not applicable to either hightemperature cement slurry system or brine cement slurry system. In addition, itwill become less efficient or even loss efficiency if used in cement that isnot accordant with American Petroleum Institute (API) standard. In orderto improve the poor high temperature resistance and salt tolerance of the PVAsystem, the method of chemical cross-linking can be adopted for themodification of PVA. For example, the condensing agent such as
