GYXTW Armored Unitube Cable
Structure
The GYXTW armored unitube cable is a kind of loose tube fiber optic cable, but its structure is different from that of a stranded one. First of all, single or multi mode fibers are set inside a loose tube which is fabricated from high modulus polyester and filled with water blocking material, and then this tube is covered by a PSP (plastic-steel-plastic) layer along its length. Between the loose tube and PSP, there are some water blocking materials used to form a compact structure and avoid longitudinal water penetration. Finally, two parallel steel wires are placed at two sides respectively, and a PE sheath completes the entire structure.

Characteristic
1. Our armored unitube cable is a lightweight product with small diameter, and it allows easy cable laying process.
2. The PSP layer outside the loose tube greatly improves moisture proofing property of this unitube optical cable, and two parallel steel wires contribute to high tensile strength.
3. There is some special gel inside the tube to protect optic fibers, and the tube boasts high strength and superior hydrolysis resistance. Furthermore, the compact structure effectively prevents the tube from retraction.
4. Our outdoor single/multi mode optical cable is featured by good flexibility and crush resistance, and its precisely controlled excess fiber length guarantees reliable mechanical property and temperature stability. Additionally, the PE sheath offers excellent UV resistance.
