Type 2 CNG cylinder for vehicle is a kind of pressure vessel that has a steel liner hoop-wrapped with glass fiber. When applied in passenger cars, it is generally with the capacity of 60L, 65L and 82L etc. If used for heavy trucks, this product is often divided into 120L CNG steel cylinder and 140L CNG steel cylinder. The 120L CNG steel cylinder is most commonly used for buses, and the 200L CNG tank is ideal for CNG mobile storage trailers.
Compared with type 1 and type 2 CNG cylinders, the type 3 compressed natural gas cylinder has the features of light weight, high safety, great loading capacity and high energy efficiency. We now supply the 120L pressure vessel and try to develop a large-capacity 35MPa hydrogen storage cylinder.
To date our company has produced up to 80,000 compressed natural gas cylinders. Till the end of June 2015, our production capacity will reach 250,000 pieces. During a period from April 2014 to April 2015, we have sold 20,000 deep drawing and ironing CNG cylinders. Compared with a traditional steel tube trailer, the type 1 CNG cylinder cascade system has a greater gas-carrying capacity, thus being highly favored by users.
This cascade system is a kind of special pressure equipment for the storage and transport of compressed natural gas. As a multifunctional storage vessel, it can be not only used as the gas source of the CNG pressure reducing station, but also function as the compressed natural gas storage and handling equipment.
Top-notch wrapping technology and fatigue strength design can realize stable and uniform fiber tension. It also effectively overcomes the problem of fatigue failure when in use of large-diameter long pipes.
The rotational speed of the composite tube is controlled by a microprocessor in a curing oven, which can prevent the liquid resin from flowing and also realize a highly uniform curing process. By doing so, we can obtain a high-quality resin matrix to ensure high safety and reliability of CNG pipes.

1. High Safety
The bottom of CNG cylinder must withstand special treatment twice to make metal fused together. By doing so, both cracks and inclusions can be avoided to secure the bottom of the steel gas cylinder while simultaneously improving its sealing performance to ensure no leakage.

Using optimized metal spinning technique can create a torispherical head, thus realizing the maximum volume of the CNG vessel when compared with other similar products of the same length.
3. High-Quality Wrap
Tension is controlled in a scientific manner to increase the strength of the gas cylinder. Then, an extra layer is produced on the cylinder surface so as to effectively protect the fiber layer and also extend the lifespan of the CNG cylinder.
The gas cylinder is rotated horizontally and continuously in a furnace chamber which is divided into three different temperature sections. It uses the curing agent that can be uniformly distributed on the surface to ensure high smoothness.

Built to meet both GB24160 and Q/ZC 107 standards, those materials which have a limit on both the maximum sulfur content and maximum phosphorus content must withstand a sulphide stress cracking corrosion test. After receiving sufficient and effective test data, we can properly increase the tensile strength of the liner, so as to make the CNG car cylinder shorter and more lightweight than before.
