Multimedia Filter
Multimedia filtration device for removing suspended solids from water
Using a blend of filtration media, this device is designed to tackle water with high turbidity by passing it through layers of granular and non-granular materials under pressure. This process efficiently removes suspended particles, resulting in crystal-clear water. Common filter materials include quartz sand, activated carbon, ceramic pellets, and anthracite. These materials work together to reduce water turbidity to below 3 NTU, ensuring the water meets high clarity standards suitable for various applications.
Multimedia filters are widely used in water treatment processes, for reducing turbidity, softening water, and serving as a pre-treatment stage in the production of pure water. This makes them indispensable in both industrial and residential settings, providing high-quality water for a range of uses.
