Slurry Erosion Wear Tester
MSH
Slurry-pot erosion wear testing machine for determining erosive properties of metal materials in corrosive conditions
Slurry erosion wear tester is a slurry-pot type tribometer designed to evaluate the erosive and corrosive properties of metallic materials in aggressive environments. During testing, samples rotate within a slurry containing free-floating abrasives. Wear occurs through repeated particle impacts, while corrosive media in the slurry accelerates material degradation. This combination enables reliable assessment of both erosion and corrosion wear performance.
| Specimen size | Pin specimen: Ø8×53mm (effective length) |
| Ring specimen: Ø50×10mm | |
| Rotation direction of spindle | Clockwise |
| Spindle speed (four levels) | 334r/min |

| 1470r/min | |
| 2961r/min | |
| Data reproducibility | Dispersion ≤5% |
Used to measure the resistance of metallic materials against high-speed erosion and corrosion in environments such as weak acids, weak alkalis, and mortar. It provides essential simulation and evaluation for industries requiring durable materials, including exploration drilling, pipeline transportation, and valve manufacturing.
