Friction and Wear Testing Machine
M-2000A
Tribometer for wear testing of various metals and non-metals by simulating sliding friction, rolling friction, and combination of sliding and rolling contacts
The tribometer is designed for wear testing of various metals and non-metals by simulating sliding friction, rolling friction, combination of sliding and rolling contacts, and intermittent motion tests. It can be used with metallic and non-metallic samples, as well as lubricants, to determine wear resistance, friction mechanisms, and friction coefficients under controlled test conditions.

Widely applied in testing the friction and wear performance of lubricants, metals, plastics, coatings, rubbers, and ceramics. Operating under specific contact pressures, it can simulate rolling, sliding, or combined movements. With its adjustable speed system, the friction and wear testing machine allows evaluation across a wide range of speeds, from very low to high, making it suitable for both laboratory research and industrial applications.
Test results conform to the following standards:
- GB/T 12444.2-90: Metal wear test method, MM-type wear test
- GB/T 3960-83: Test method for sliding friction coefficient of plastics
