The rubber ceramic liner consists of ceramic and rubber layer. The small-square ceramics are embedded into the specialty rubber backing mat to form a square abrasion-resistant rubber liner. Then the liner is adhered to the steel plate of your equipment by the high-strength bonding agent to produce a firm, impact-absorbing abrasion-proof layer.

Applications
The rubber-ceramic wear liners are widely used in:
The coal conveying and ash discharge systems in thermal power plants;
The hopper and chute of conveyor and batching systems in metallurgy industry;
The abrasion-proof liners of grinding equipment.

The rubber ceramic liner is cuttable and distortable, applicable to various irregular-shaped machines and devices. The liner is also water and weak acid and base resistant. Attention needs to be paid that this rubber-ceramic liner can only be used under 100℃.

Features
  • Resistant to abrasion

    The ceramic adopts the unique composition of 95% AL2O3 and many other abrasion-resistant materials. Dry pressed by 100-ton load, the ceramic features high density, high tenacity and good wear resistance. Shanghai Institute of Ceramics of CAS found that abrasion resistance of abrasion-resistant ceramics our company produced is 266 times that of manganese steel and 171.5 times that of high-chromium cast iron.

  • Resistant to low or high temperature

    The integrated vulcanized impact-and abrasion-resistant rubber ceramic liner has absorbed the successful experience of over ten years in liner production. Auxiliary materials are added into the rubber to allow it maintaining a stable internal structure in -50℃ or +100℃ so as to prevent rubber aging and ceramics falling off.

  • Resistant to impact

    Duratech wear-resistant ceramic has added Cr2O3 and TiO2, which have similar lattice to Al2O3. ZnO whisker introduced from TOSHIBA is also added into the composition. It forms a solid solution with Al2O3 during sintering, which can refine grain, promote sintering and improve fracture toughness. The fracture toughness of Duratech rubber ceramic liner: KIC≥4.8Mpa/m2.

  • Firm bonding

    The most reliable bonding method is taken by Duratech to prevent the liner from coming off.
    A. Mature vulcanization process of ceramic and rubber.
    The ceramic will be processed by the USA imported surface treading agent in prior to vulcanization. The vulcanized liner can withstand 360° bending and the ceramics will not fall off from the rubber backing.

    B. Strong bonding between rubber ceramic liner and steel
    Imported metal-rubber bonding agent is adopted to bond the rubber ceramic liner and steel plate, which features strong bonding force, good heat, acid, base, corrosion and aging resistance. This bonding agent has been proven successfully by the using experience of hundreds of Duratech's clients in decades. So far, none coming off problem has occurred. The organic bonding agent is resistant to high temperature of 100℃ and low temperature of 50℃. Featuring high bonding force, it is ideal for rubber-ceramic wear liner.

    With a large contact area between liner and the equipment, Duratech rubber ceramic liner is also perfect for applications in high impact/abrasion, such as coal conveying system in power plant, steel sintering plant and so on.
