Downhole Drill Pipe
Caston manufactures DHT drill pipe with friction welding technique. The joints are given forging, and quenching and tempering treatment. Our drill pipes are fabricated from oil pipes in conformity with API standards, with the 2 pipe ends given internal thickening and heat treatment, which contributes to a steel grade of S135. Featured by high impact strength, and excellent mechanical performance, Caston DHT drill pipe is applicable in mining and water well drilling. It incorporates drill pipe and auxiliary casings.

In drilling operation, casings work to protect the wall and reduce the straightness deviation. Casings with different length and diameter are prepared for different drill rigs. They are made from seamless steel pipes. For thread processing, pipes with thin wall should firstly be upset in the ends, and pipes with thick wall can be processed directly. The tubing joint generally comes with arc shape. It is also customizable upon clients' needs.
