Forced Air Circular Flotation Cell
Flotation cell (froth flotation) is receiving an ever-increasing application in mineral processing and chemical engineering industries. The flotation cell is applied as a concentration machine by large, medium, and small size mineral processing plants for the recovery of metal minerals, including gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, nickle, manganese, iron, molybdenum, tungsten and non-metallic minerals, including barite, quartz, graphite, feldspar, fluorspar.
Working Principle
This forced air circular flotation cell is efficient and energy-saving. It is commonly used in mineral processing of various metals and non-metallic minerals. The machine is easy to operate and control with stable performance and easy maintenance. The circular cell is friendly to on-site constructions, consumes less space, and saves investment.
Large scale: Circular cells are suitable for large-scale developement since the geometrical shape of the machine distributes the force evenly;
Avoiding deposits at the bottom: Compared with square tanks, circular cells have no dead angles due to the property of flow mechanics;
Energy conservation and consumption reduction: Energy consumption is 15~20% lower than cells of the same size thanks to the shape of the impeller and the flow mechanics;
High recovery rate: The recovery rate is 1~3% higher than cells of the same size due to the abundant and stable froth achieved by the full interaction of the reagent and the ore slurry;
High concentrate grade: The concentrate grade is 10~35% higher than cells of the same size because of the strong agitation power that can produce plentiful froth;
Simple operation and maintenance: No need to release the slurry all the time and there is no bubble scraper;
Safe and environment-friendly: The flotation cell's top can be closed completely, preventing harmful gas from being released into the air;
High automation: The contol of liquid level, air inflation, and lubrication is automated, reducing the operators' number and labor intensity.
- An automatic lubrication system for smooth operation and a long service life;
- An automatic ore discharing device (middle) for the tailing;
- An automatic liquid level detection and contrl device, which can be operated remotely and thus increase the precision and decrease the operation intensity and error;
- An automatic air volume detection and control device, which can be operated remotely and display the inflation volume, thus ensuring the inflation stablity;
- A PH value detection and display device operating at any time;
- An automatic device that can detect and display the slurry concentration.
