Weathering test chamber used for climate aging test with xenon arc lamp

Xenon test chamber is an accelerated weathering tester by simulating true environmental conditions. It utilizes xenon arc lamp capable of simulating the full sunlight spectrum to replicate destructive light waves present in different environments. Using a long arc xenon lamp as the light source, it is designed to simulate and intensify weathering and accelerated aging tests, enabling rapid acquisition of near-atmospheric aging test results. By precisely controlling test conditions, this test chamber can simulate various climate conditions in the laboratory and perform repeated tests to validate the reliability of the results, making the xenon test chamber an effective tool for evaluating the weather resistance performance of materials.

Testing Type
Photoaging Test (Accelerated Aging Test)

Certificate & Standards
CE certification
Standards: GB/T16422-2, ASTMD529, ISO4892-2

Applications
  • In the field of materials science, xenon test chamber is used to evaluate the weather resistance, heat resistance, and light stability of various materials.
  • In the automotive industry, xenon test chamber is used to test the durability and appearance changes of automotive components, coatings, and interior materials.
Configurations
  • Ventilation cooling system: it is automatically controlled by a temperature controller to regulate the equipment temperature.
  • Spraying system: it includes a water pump, time relay, and adjustable spraying cycle.
  • BPT black panel thermometer: it uses wireless transmission technology to improve the control accuracy.
  • Fiber optic transmission measuring lamp radiation intensity: this avoids the measurement errors caused by temperature.
  • Xenon lamp water-cooling system: a chiller unit is used, and the water can be recycled.
  • Test rack: it rotates around the light source at a speed of 1r/min. Installed with a BPT black panel thermometer or BST black standard thermometer.
  • Timing device: controls the equipment time and automatically shuts down the equipment.
  • Protection device: adopts a circuit linked to the cooling water to ensure the xenon arc lamp operates normally.
Functions
  • Xenon test chamber supports various simulated environmental conditions and accelerated exposure testing.
  • Determine the changes in materials exposed to sunlight under different environmental conditions to evaluate the durability changes after material composition changes, etc.
  • As a weathering and accelerated aging tester, this xenon test chamber allows for rapid obtaining of the results of near-atmospheric aging tests.
Features
  • Xenon test chamber utilizes xenon arc lamps capable of simulating the full spectrum solar radiation to replicate destructive light waves present in different environmental conditions.
  • The interior chamber is made of advanced stainless steel sanding plate, and the exterior of chamber is made of SUS304# stainless steel with an oil-finished surface.
