Description

BP24 is a pressure regulator developed for paintball applications. This pressure regulator features a 1/2 thread inlet for connection to paintball CO₂ tanks. The outlet interface can be configured in either the left or right direction, and a quick-connect outlet option is also available. The pressure adjustment and locking mechanisms are designed for convenient and efficient operation.

CO₂ regulators are versatile devices that can be used wherever precise control of carbon dioxide pressure and flow is required.

Application scenarios or industries
  • Drinking machine
  • Drum
  • Paintball gun
  • Mosquito trap
Food & Beverage Industry
  • Carbonation: Used for sodas, beer (in brewing and draft systems—kegs and taps), seltzer/sparkling water, carbonated soft drinks, cocktails, and other sparkling beverages. CO₂ regulators are also integrated into direct drinking water machines, allowing end users to select different types of water from the control panel, such as purified water or soda water.
  • Packaging (MAP): Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) uses regulators to control CO₂ ratios in order to extend the shelf life of products such as meat, cheese, snacks, and baked goods by displacing oxygen.
  • Wine preservation and dispensing: Used for inert gas blanketing during wine transfer to prevent oxidation, and as a pressure source for dispensing wine.
Medical & Healthcare & Pharmaceutical
  • Medical-grade CO₂ delivery, respiratory therapy and medical gas systems: The regulator provides a constant and stable pressure with a controlled CO₂ gas mixture (typically including gases such as CO₂, N₂, He, Xe, etc.) for gas discharge within laser tubes. This ensures stable laser output energy and predictable treatment results. Pressure fluctuations can directly affect laser power and mode, potentially causing treatments to be too deep or ineffective.
  • Laboratory & pharmaceutical: Used in incubators (for cell culture), as an extraction solvent, and in various analytical instruments.
Industrial & Manufacturing
  • Mosquito traps: Mosquito traps equipped with regulators release CO₂ gas, scent, and airflow to attract mosquito species into the trap, where they are then eliminated harmlessly. This provides stronger and longer-lasting protection without the use of insecticides.
  • Welding and metal fabrication: Mosquito traps equipped with regulators release CO₂ gas, scent, and airflow to attract mosquito species into the trap, where they are then eliminated harmlessly. This provides stronger and longer-lasting protection without the use of insecticides.
  • CO₂ regulators are also used in laser cutting, chemical processing, calibration gases for instruments, fire suppression systems, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Agriculture
  • Greenhouse enrichment: Regulators inject CO₂ into greenhouses to significantly enhance plant growth through improved photosynthesis. This is an important application for maximizing crop yields.
  • Aquarium & aquaculture: Used to control water chemistry in fish farming and to inject CO₂ into planted aquariums to promote aquatic plant growth.
  • Additionally, It is widely used in hydroponics and vertical farming systems.
Others
  • Percussion instruments: When a CO₂ regulator injects sufficient pressure into a drum, it can produce unique sound effects during performance.
  • Entertainment & special effects: Used in simulated explosions, gunshot effects (in airsoft or paintball), and special visual effects such as “bubbling cauldron” displays.
  • Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE): Supercritical CO₂ is used as a solvent to extract substances such as essential oils and caffeine.
  • Bicycle tire inflation: Some cyclists use compact CO₂ regulators with cartridges for rapid tire inflation.
  • Pneumatics: Used as a power source for air rifles, paintball markers, and certain pneumatic tools.
