Styrene modified C5 resin is thermoplastic and has a low molecular weight. The resin is also a light yellow aromatically modified C5 resin. With an excellent heat stability, and compatibility with SIS, SBS, NR and other polymers, the modified resin has a great balance between tack, as well as adhesive and cohesive properties. It is widely used in PSA, adhesive tapes, labels and HMA.
ALX™-2085 styrene modified C5 resin is a thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin. Featuring a low molecular weight, a light color, great aging stability and a low odor, the hydrocarbon resin has an excellent compatibility with SIS, EVA, NR, and BR.
