ApplicationThe EDTMPA is a scale inhibitor with strong ability to chelate metal ions. Its copper complexation constants are the largest among all chelating agents including EDTA. The chelating ability of EDTMPA is far more excellent than that of EDTA and DTPA. Almost all use of EDTA as chelating agent can be replaced with EDTMPA.
