Activated carbon filters adopt adsorptive qualities of the media processed with coconut shells, nutlets, etc. to effectively remove colloid, smells, odors, chlorine, color and other contaminants in the fluid. This filtration system is mainly constructed with stainless steel or rubber lined carbon steel. Glass reinforced plastic is also available when the handling capacity is small.
