A Frame Drill Tower
A frame drill tower is a kind of portable drill tower which has simple structure and light weight, can wholly stand and is convenient to install and move. It's mainly used as hoisting drill tool of core drilling rig and water well drilling rig. It's suitable for core geological exploration and can also be used for exploration of water well, oil and natural gas. It has the features of light weight, high load capacity and ease of installation and use. A frame drill tower has two kinds of legs: tube type and truss type legs, which can be used for drilling of straight boreholes and inclined boreholes. The drill tower is tightened diagonally with four steel ropes when used. Guy wire is the key to maintaining overall stability of drill tower so it must be fixed firmly.
