SA-XBZ-600

Static coiler for drawing low carbon steel wires to smaller diameters and coiling wires on stem wire carriers

  • Drawing speed 300m/min
  • Capstan diameter 560mm
  • Inlet wire diameter 3.0-5.0mm

Used for producing fine wire with tight dimensional control, the dead block coiler performs single-pass drawing to achieve diameters below 0.01 mm, maintaining tolerances within ±0.01 mm. It is commonly applied in the processing of low-carbon steel grades such as Q195, Q235, 1008, and 1006, as well as other soft metals requiring high ductility. Wire is taken up directly onto stem carriers, helping maintain coil stability and reducing deformation during handling. This configuration is especially suitable for setups focused on compact coil formation and consistent output.

Applications

Often used in the production of screws, nuts, washers, nails, wire mesh, bundling wire, and general-purpose iron wire.

Specifications
  • Type: Vertical
  • Dimensions (L×W×H): 3.1×1.8×2.3m
  • Capstan diameter: 560mm
  • Motor power: 22kW
  • Inlet wire diameter: 3.0-5.0mm
  • Drawing speed: 300m/min
  • Machine materials: Frame made of standard structural steel; panels and doors in cold-rolled sheet metal with painted finish.
Features
  • Supports a range of die options, including tungsten carbide, polycrystalline diamond (PCD), and nano-coated dies, each selected for durability and resistance to wear. Quick die change allows for smooth transitions between wire sizes during multi-spec production.
  • The wire drawing process is controlled through a PLC-based system with an integrated touchscreen, allowing operators to fine-tune parameters such as drawing speed and tension. Designed for consistent output, this setup is ideal for continuous production with minimal operator input.
Main Components and Configuration
