Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology Company Limited, is a large-scale company with a specialty in the production of diesel engines, engine parts, and generator sets. SDEC is a state-owned enterprise with SAIC Motor as its largest shareholder. We heavily emphasize quality and technology during our development and production operations. Our original organization, Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology Factory was first established in 1947 and restructured in 1993. Throughout our 70 years of development history, SDEC products have been distributed across the globe. Today, SDEC produces seven series of engines: R, H, D, C, E, G and W series, with power output ranges of 50 to 1600 kW. They are used in trucks, busses, construction machinery, generator sets, marine applications, and agricultural equipment. SDEC also operates an integrated sales and service network.
