In 2016, the customer requested the development of a high performance UF (Ultrafiltration membrane) hollow fiber separating membrane by compounding different material formulas as a support layer and separation layer respectively. This would allow for membrane surface modification in order to achieve non-pressure, high flux, high hydrophilic, separation effectivenss, anti-fouling, and high mechanical strength all at the same time. We designed a 6 holes dual layer spinneret to increase manufacturing efficiency while guaranteeing membrane performance. We continue to provide NIPS, TIPS hollow fiber membrane spinnerets in 2017 and 2018, since the quality and performance met expectations in 2016.
