SCBA Cylinder
SINOMA has a decade of experience in manufacturing fully wrapped and hoop wrapped cylinders, but it's our in-house research and development capability that sets apart from the competition. With a firm grasp of SCBA cylinder technology, SINOMA is all poised to deliver quality carbon fiber wrapped cylinders to clients across the globe.
The self-contained breathing apparatus is aimed to help those entering a toxic or oxygen-deficient environment breathe effectively. SINOMA's SCBA cylinder is typically offered in 2L,6.8L, or 9L capacity. This steel tank product is mainly geared towards the oxygen respirator and air purifying respirator market.
The composite cylinder is made of aluminum alloy that has been through a series of operations, including cutting, deep drawing (stamping), and metal spinning. It is wrapped with either glass fiber or carbon fiber on the outside. As a one-piece deep-drawn part, the steel cylinder is lightweight, thin and comes without unsightly weld seams.
Applications of SCBA Cylinder
The oxygen respirator made using SCBA cylinder can be a lifesaver for firefighters whose work environment involves fire, toxic gas, and smoke which are dangerous, tough and life-altering. In industries as diverse as shipping, aviation, waste water treatment, oil refining, chemical engineering, and military operation, the SCBA cylinder is also a common sight, typically supplied in 6.8L and 9L capacity and handling a pressure of 30MPa.
Model Selection
We currently provide two standard types of aluminum alloy SCBA cylinders for use to make up respirators, but we can customize your SCBA cylinder as well.
