Air Brake Compressor Crankshaft, China
CAMC is a manufacturer of heavy truck. They needed to purchase a batch of crankshaft which can be used on air brake compressor of automobile, so they contacted us. In January, 2018, Nazhen carried out die sinking and sample producing of the crankshafts. Until April, we produced a small batch of crankshaft for trials. CAMC told us that there was big noise during the running of the air brake compressor. They consulted us that if there are any solutions.
We told them that the big noise was definitely caused by balancing issues or torsion issues of connecting rod journals. The crankshaft balancing was the main problem according to our inspection. We provided our customer with formula and carried out trials together. Finally, we found out the problem of overweight counterweight. And we changed its weight according to our calculation. In August, 2018, we delivered a new batch of crankshaft to our customer and the problem of noise was successfully solved.
Later, we got the honor of R&D supplier from our customer.
