CE-Type Glass-Lined Reactor (Closed Type)
The CE-type glass-lined reactor (closed type) is available in capacities from CE3000L to CE32000L and is manufactured in accordance with ASME and PED pressure vessel standards. It is widely used in the chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, agrochemical, food, and dye industries, providing a dependable solution for demanding process applications.
The closed type glass-lined reactor mainly consists of a vessel body, center cover, agitator, and drive unit. Its inner surface is lined with glass enamel for reliable corrosion resistance, while the outer metal jacket provides heating or cooling for effective heat transfer. The agitation system includes the agitator and reducer to promote material mixing, the temperature measurement system monitors the process temperature in real time, and the drive unit transfers motor power to the agitator. With its fully enclosed design, the reactor offers strong sealing performance and lower maintenance costs, making it suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature, flammable, explosive, or toxic media.
- Fully enclosed structure with low leakage risk
The vessel body and cover are sealed with flange bolts and a spiral wound gasket, creating a fully enclosed structure without open cover gaps. This helps isolate the process media from outside air, reduce the risk of leakage of volatile, toxic, flammable, or explosive media, and prevent external contamination from entering the vessel, which supports both product purity and production safety. - Suitable for high-pressure operation
The integrated rigid structure is designed to withstand higher internal pressure, with a typical design pressure range of 0.4-1.6 MPa, which is significantly higher than that of open type reactors. This makes it suitable for processes such as hydrogenation, polymerization, and high-temperature cracking that require a pressurized reaction environment. - Integrated design for stable operation
The rigid connection between the vessel cover and vessel body minimizes movement during operation and improves the alignment of the agitation system. This helps reduce agitator shaft wear and extend the service life of sealing components such as the mechanical seal.
