Under the same temperature drop, latent heat storage features higher energy storage capacity and lower temperature change as compared with sensible heat storage and being simpler in operation and energy storage control and with smaller volume as compared with the thermochemical storage.
Features- Simplified heat exchanger structure, free from heat storage circulation system, with direct heat exchange between the heat-transfer medium and heat storage material, ensuring higher heat exchange efficiency.
- Using latent heat storage, which features higher energy density, smaller heat storage volume and less change of power system working temperature. Compared with the sensible heat storage, the latent heat storage has higher heat collecting efficiency and less heat loss, so there is no need to set high operating temperature of the system.
- With improved heat storage material and less material corrosion, ensuring high compatibility between the heat storage material and the ordinary steel and bringing less cost for heat accumulation system.
