Our IEC standard VHS motors are in line with IEC energy efficiency classes, a standard mainly suitable for markets in Europe, Asia, and Africa. The primary differences between IEC and NEMA standards lie in energy efficiency grades, installation dimensions, bearing lubrication methods, and wiring methods for the junction box.

Our IEC standard VHS motors can extract groundwater from depths of 100 to 200 meters, primarily used for irrigation in desert areas, airport firefighting, and agricultural irrigation in water-scarce regions.

Key Features
  • Equipped with two angular contact ball thrust bearings at the motor’s top, these motors effortlessly manage upward or downward thrust. The lower radial ball bearing handles any radial loads from the pump.
  • Designed to power deep-well turbine pumps, our vertical hollow shaft motors support self-releasing, bolted, or non-reverse couplings, as specified by the client. Located at the motor’s top, these couplings allow easy pump impeller adjustments. Access them by removing the top cover and fan housing.
