The air interlock valve is installed on API bottom loading adapters and vapor recovery couplers to support interlock control in fuel tanker pneumatic systems. It ensures coordinated valve operation during loading, vapor recovery, and emergency shutdown procedures, forming a critical link between safety systems.

By integrating with the pneumatic control block, the tank truck valve allows synchronized control between the loading system and the vapor recovery interface. In case of emergency, pressing the interlock valve’s actuator immediately stops the air system, halting operations and reducing risk.

What fluids are compatible with this interlock valve?

The valve is compatible with a wide range of petroleum-based products including gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, and marine fuel, as well as many chemical liquids. It is not suitable for highly corrosive substances such as sulfuric or concentrated nitric acid.
