The chamber filter press with a manual jack, also known as a lab filter press, is designed for lab analysis tasks and small batch production. This press is also extensively used for testing for upscaling processes for companies seeking to expand to a full production size semi-automatic or manually operated press. The lab filter press includes PP plates, a filter cloth, a manual jack closure system and a drip pan.
Presentation
This series of lab filter presses is a simple and reliable method for high compaction pressure in order to compress and remove water from solids. The filters in this filter press are designed for usage in laboratory, new product, and process development, testing, production expansion, and small volume production. Changing of the filter cloth or filter paper is quick and easy, keeping downtime to a minimum. The small chamber filter press is equipped with a 20 ton hand hydraulic jack as a standard feature.
Caution
The chamber filter with a manual jack is not very well suited for low solid content suspensions with small particles. Using it as such will result in a poor filtering performance, with particles slipping through the filter cloth, preventing the filtrate from being clean and clear.
