Manual Plate and Frame Filter Press
Application:
1. The manual plate and frame filter press is a cost effective filter press for handling smaller quantities.
2. This filter press uses low capacity filters ranging in size from 315-650mm, as well as different plate sizes. This machine is an effective, inexpensive choice for handling small quantities of material and laboratory use.
3. We manufacture manually operated filter presses with a jack closing device and a hand wheel device. The plate sizes are available in plate and frame type 315mm, 420mm and 650mm.
Presentation
Different filter presses are used for different applications, from dewatering in mineral mining slurries to blood plasma purification, all the way to maple syrup production. Filter press technology has also been widely used for ultrafine coal dewatering as well as filtrate recovery in coal preparation plants. An example of this is the use of the pilot scale plate filter press, often used for dewatering in coal slurries. This particular filter press has been proven to be incredibly beneficial to plant operations, as it offers an outstanding dewatering effect for cleaning coal as a product, as well as improving the quality of the water removed, which further improves its usage down the line for equipment cleaning. Each filter press that leaves our facility is efficient and reliable.
Features
1. The manual plate and frame filter press uses a patented filter plate and frame producing technology, and features a high intensity, light weight, excellent resistance to corrosion, as well as excellent resistance to acid and alkaline.
2. The filter press frame is made of high intensity welded components to relieve the overall stress, and give it a dependable working performance.
3. Operation is safe and easy, as is maintenance.
4. It is easy to disassemble and replace the filter cloth for cleaning, making the filter press applicable in the food and beverage industry, oil industry and a number of others where frequent cleaning and replacement of the filter cloth is a requirement.
Caution
This filter press is not suited for low solid content suspensions with small particles, and treating the filter machine as such will only result in a bad filtering performance. The particles will flow through the filter cloth instead of being blocked, resulting in a filtrate that is not clear.
