Application
Our metal shear blade & machine knives are mainly applied to Guillotine shears,Flying Shears and cut-to-length lines . which can shear all kinds of thickness of stainless steel plates, silicon steel sheets, galvanized sheets, cold-rolled and hot-rolled plates, copper plates etc. for the fact that the crosscut machine shears frequently, the quality of its blades does matter. Seton blades have excellent surface quality and high wear resistance, able to reduce the downtime caused by replacing blades due to sharpening and carry out continuous production, and thus improving production efficiency. Certainly, clearance adjustment is also quite important when shearing materials of different thickness.

Material introduction
The metal shear blade & machine knives primarily adopt 6CrW2si, Cr12MoV, SKD-11, H13, DC53, SLD, W6Mo5Cr4V2, tungsten carbide and other materials. Due to the wide range of thickness of customers' shearing materials and the reluctance to change blades frequently, Seton developed a new type of material HMT, which has relatively high flexibility and good abrasion resistance as well, able to shear 5-16mm and 10-20mm steel plates at the same time.

• High abrasion resistance. Before the knife edge gets blunt, the capacity of single shear conventional materials generally reaches 9000-15,000ton.
• High precision. After heat treatment, the hole spacing tolerance are guaranteed to meet the requirements of assembled with various machines.
• The use of superior raw materials and special heat treatment process with many times of tempering enables longtime shearing without knife edge broken.
• The quality of very piece of blades are 100% tested, and only qualified ones are delivered to customers.

Custom made
Our metal shear blade and guillotine shear blade can be customized to a length up to 5000mm. According to the cut material, the hardness can be customized as HRC 53-70, is able to cut metallic materials of 0.1mm-32mm.
